With a 14" diameter, this induction hob safe wok has an ideal capacity for cooking for 4-6 people. It's design allows you to start cooking almost immediately and the natural patina will develop through use, helping to prevent the carbon steel from rust and provide an easy-release cooking performance.

Natural Patina Non-Stick

The natural, effective non-stick surface called patina will develop through use of this traditional Chinese seasoning wok. When ready to start cooking, place the wok centrally over the hob ring, add oil and heat on a medium high setting. Once the oil starts smoking you're ready to start cooking.

How to remove the Protective Coating from the Wok before use: 

  1. Immerse the bowl of the wok in hot water for 5 minutes to soften the lacquer coating.
  2. Then use a course scourer or wire wool with a generous quantity of detergent to scour the inside of the bowl for at least 3-4 minutes until all of the clear protective coating has been removed.
